Therapy for adults who are tired of holding it all together while struggling behind the scenes.
Therapy for adults who are tired of holding it all together while struggling behind the scenes.
Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something to change…
DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
Your mind rarely shuts off. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and wish you could feel more settled.
You're the one everyone counts on. You show up for work, family, and friends, but lately there's not much left for you.
Life feels heavier than it used to. A transition, loss, relationship challenge, or slow buildup of stress has left you feeling stuck.
You spend so much time taking care of everyone else. Therapy can be a place where your needs get to matter too. And no, you don't need to be in crisis to deserve that support.
SOME OF THE THINGS WE CAN EXPLORE TOGETHER
Anxiety, overthinking, and feeling mentally exhausted
Burnout from always being the one holding things together
Alcohol or substance use that no longer feels aligned with your goals
Setting boundaries without guilt
Relationship challenges and changing family roles
Pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood
Life transitions, identity shifts, and feeling stuck
Individual online therapy for adults who want to better understand themselves and feel more grounded in their lives.
Hi, I’m Jess!
About me
I'm a licensed clinical social worker offering virtual therapy to adults across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
A lot of the people I work with are the ones holding everything together. The caregiver. The high-achiever. The person everyone relies on. From the outside, things look fine. Behind the scenes, they're exhausted, overwhelmed, or wondering how much longer they can keep going at this pace.
If any part of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
I'm a mom of two, so I know firsthand how easy it is to spend your days taking care of everyone else while putting yourself last.
Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to keep trying to figure it out on your own.
How I work
Therapy with me doesn't require urgency, performance, or having everything figured out before you show up. It's a place to pause, process, and make sense of what's going on in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
Sometimes that means learning new ways to cope. Other times, it means looking at old patterns or finally giving yourself permission to take up a little more space in your own life.
We'll talk about what's working, what's not, and what might need to change. We can laugh, get real about what isn't working, and figure out what actually needs to change. I'm not here to hand you a checklist. I'm here to help you see things from a different perspective, recognize what's already working, and build from there.
I believe therapy can be both meaningful and human. Therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or overly clinical. You can show up as yourself, say the thing you're afraid sounds ridiculous, and we'll figure it out together.
Conversational — Show up exactly as you are. No perfect words required.
Collaborative — We decide together what would actually help.
Practical — Insight matters, and so does what you do with it.
Insurance & Fees
I accept many major insurance plans, including:
Aetna
Cigna
BCBS
United/Optum
Humana
Some EAP plans
Don't see your plan listed? Reach out. Coverage changes frequently, and I'm happy to help you figure out your options.
Questions About Coverage?
Insurance can be confusing. If you're not sure what your benefits look like or whether I'm in-network with your plan, I'm happy to help you understand your options.
Some EAP benefits are accepted. Some insurance plans also offer out-of-network benefits. If applicable, I can provide documentation for reimbursement.
Private pay sessions are $150. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available for those who need them.
Your Questions, Answered
-
You don’t need to be in crisis to start therapy. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or stuck in a transition. If something in your life feels heavier than it should, therapy can help.
-
You're in good company. A lot of people I work with are brand new to this. You don't need to know how therapy "works" or have your thoughts organized before we meet. We'll figure it out as we go.
-
That's completely okay. You don't need to show up with everything figured out or know exactly where to start. Many people come to therapy because they know something isn't working, but they can't quite put it into words yet. We'll start where you are and figure it out together.
-
Sessions are 45–60 minutes via a secure video platform. We'll talk, work through things, and I'll follow your lead on what you need most that day. We’ll laugh. We’ll cry. Some sessions are heavier. Some are lighter. Both are completely fine.
-
Most clients start with weekly sessions. As therapy progresses, we can decide together what feels most helpful based on your goals, schedule, and needs.
-
Yes. I work with several insurance plans through Headway, Grow, and Talkspace. Private pay is $150 per session. If you're not sure what you're covered for, reach out and we'll figure it out together before you commit to anything. At this time I do not accept Medicaid.
-
Not at this time. Sessions are fully virtual for adults located in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
-
You might not know until we actually talk — and that's okay. A good fit matters in therapy, and I'd rather you find the right person than feel stuck with the wrong one. Reach out and we'll have a low-pressure conversation first.
